Software Pearls was founded in early 2008 as a privately held company specializing in world-class Java-centric solutions and consultancy.

The People

Software Pearls is managed by Laurence Vanhelsuwe, a Java and software engineering veteran with more than 20 years IT experience.

The Logo

The Software Pearls name and logo were heavily inspired by Jon Bentley's classic software engineering text "Programming Pearls" (ISBN 0-201-10331-1). The animating logo reflects the often complex pseudo-mechanical nature of modern software systems. As befits a software company, our logo is the result of several days worth' of custom graphics programming.
